Commodity Trading Solutions (CTS) was created in 2014 to service the Australian agri-business space. After 20+ years in the grain and oils sector, the founding director Mr. David Taylor embarked on the mission to create a unique business that would allow traders, processors, storage agents and other key stake-holders to trade and handle transactions more efficiently, promote new technology and integrate successfully.
In 2015, Steve Burt joining the business offering Agri-business Advisory Services, focussing on strategy, oversight, optimisation, mergers & acquisitions. Steve has over 30 years in global commodity trading and derivative markets, mergers and acquisitions, and "C" level and Board roles across a broad spectrum of Agri-businesses including Grain, Turf & Horticulture. Today, CTS offers global agri-business expert strategic advisory, which can be coupled with the adoption of new technology, integration capabilities and people-based solutions for short-term, or contract work with specific industry experience in IT, trade execution and management roles.

Steve has held roles including Managing Director of Pentag Nidera and trading manager of AWB Limited. Since joining CTS Steve has undertaken long term advisory roles overseas roles in Germany and Netherlands for Baywa and its subsidiary Cefetra, Steve is currently on the board of AMPS Agribusiness and previously chairman of FarmInvest Australia and HPN Agribusiness (NZ) and is currently Managing Director of TurfBreed.
DavID Taylor
David was Manager of OpenLink Agribusiness Solutions in Australia and has developed technology solutions for over 25 years including introducing GrainSMART for the Australian Grain Industry. David has most recently been involved in new project implementations at CHS Broadbent, Bunge, Emerald and Agfarm as well as a role as Technology Management at Turfbreed and My Home Turf
