Commodity Trading Solutions (CTS) was created in 2014 to service the agri-business space. After 20+ years in the grain and oils sector, the founding director David Taylor embarked on the mission to create a unique business that would allow traders, processors, storage agents and other key stake-holders to trade and handle transactions more efficiently, promote new technology and integrate successfully.
In 2015, Steve Burt joined the business offering Agri-business Advisory Services, focussing on strategy, oversight, optimisation, mergers & acquisitions. Steve has over 30 years in global commodity trading and derivative markets, mergers and acquisitions, and "C" level and Board roles across a broad spectrum of Agri-businesses including Grain, Turf & Horticulture. In 2019, AgCRM was developed by CTS for CRM capabilities within the Salesforce Cloud for those that buy/sell/trade or handle commodities for agricultural inputs. AgCRM now spans functional requirements for Trading, Brokerage, S&H Operations as well as CRM. AgCRM has modular-based application for clients in all commodity industries with deep API interfaces to ERP, CTRM and third party providers.
